Some Reuters report said that US pays more its doctors compared to most
industrialized countries, and still has a high demand for skilled health care workers, from nurses to caregivers. Yet it lags behind in terms of results, compared to most of those first rate countries! Whats going on here?
fitness
and health resourcesRaelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09472736560653408339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9742326.post-76556831374426922552007-07-04T21:04:00.000-07:002007-07-04T21:04:00.000-07:00All this is very interesting to me as I am an Amer...All this is very interesting to me as I am an American who has dreamed since the age of 15 or so of emigrating to the UK.

It's good to know that health care is easilly obtained as the whole emigration process seems impossible even for someone like me who was in the Air Force 10 years as an Arabic/Georgian linguist, speaks German besides those, held a top secret clearance, has worked as a personal assistant and wants to be a citizen of the UK almost more than anything. I feel that one must either be wealthy, a spouse of someone who is a citizen and wealthy, the tennis partner of someone's wealthy British spouse or Indian, not that I have a thing against Indians or tennis players.

Can I just slip in on a cargo ship? I'm losing hope in the system.

As for health care, I am so envious as here the costs are ridiculous and one would almost rather be quite ill than go to the emergency room. I just got done paying a $400 bill, and that was after my insurance covered half of it. All because I had pneumonia and needed antibiotics and a breathing treatment... I know every society has its ups and downs, but one of the worst problems on this side of the Atlantic is health care...your system is so much better. I'd give anything to be taxed a bit more if it meant my government would provide me with the kind of care yours does, not to mention pavements for walking on and public transportation...but that is for another time.Christinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18174206620788978276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9742326.post-79547111161061214032007-06-30T07:12:00.000-07:002007-06-30T07:12:00.000-07:00It's going to get worse David unless you act nowht...It's going to get worse David unless you act now

http://scottishrajwatch.blogspot.com/2007/06/todays-disgrace-english-patient.htmlSainted Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15451729301719927325noreply@blogger.com
